Printed Paper Products
With the end-use ever in mind, a designer is usually also responsible for material and printing choices of a final product. That process looks like: cleaning or making original art, concepting a collection, templating each product with sizes, communicating with producers and printers, organizing samples, color separations, and sometimes going on press for quality and color control. Art from different artists is printed at different printers and is color corrected using a variety of print techniques to look cohesive on the shelf as a collection. Some products include plate of various sizes, napkins of various sizes, cups, table cloth, crackers, wrapping paper, cards, gift bags of various sizes, colorways, banners, napkin holders, etc.
